I have been reading music since age 9 but this book certainly helped to refresh what I already know.It is also the only book that accurately explains time signatures. Most of us have been taught from an early age about time signatures but also most have been taught inaccurately. I guess it took a Crane School of Music Grad to get it right! Thanks for this great book. vg
This book really helped me with music, I ran into this book at the library and had to have it in my collection it has replaced several other music books, it is well written and easy to fallow..
I'm in my schools chorus and starting the first day we reviewed how to sightread. It was easy and it comes almost instinctively now. In my middle school chorus we did sight kwan do and that showed whether or not you struggled. I only got to the 5th one out of 12 I believe. I've been singing for three years and in our music performance assessment my chorus got an overall superior hich i the highest then I went to solo and ensemble and got an excellent. I hope whoevers reading this knows what I'm talking about...(fingers crossed)
