I recently got my copy of Lauren's new cookbook, and I must say I was blown away when I opened it!  I was expected, of course, 'recipes'...what I learned is that this is an easy-to-read, makes sense, 'recipe' book for life...Lauren has broken down the mystique of wheat and eating gluten free, ciliac's disease, and everything in between and  has made sense of it for the everyday lay person.  Then she proceeds to give simple, yet creative, recipes in various categories that will surely be enough to make anyone happy if they're looking for something in particular.  It's a 'reference' book in my growing cookbook library...while I'm not wheat-free entirely, I'm interested in reducing the amount of wheat in my diet, so this book now allows me to do it w/o total confusion~~I say two thumbs up, Lauren!  Thank you!

I had the opportunity to review this wonderfully informative cookbook and try out one of the the many recipes. The Double-Chocolate Quinoa Muffins are delicious! Just enough balance in flavors, sweet but not too sweet, a little nutty and the right combo ingredients – including cocoa and cinnamon spice making it a scrumptious treat! The quinoa literally disappeared, but its nutritional value surely brings this treat up a notch or two. The texture was perfect – dense but not heavy. I will certainly be trying out more of the recipes from this book.

Creative, healthy recipes that actually taste great. I love this book! I highly recommend it to people avoiding or limiting their wheat intake. It's very informative!

Fantastic Wheat free cookbook!  This book is great for people who think that "wheat free" means flavor free.  It is so hard to find good wheat free recipes that are not tasteless or are very difficult to make.  Lauren has made wheat free fantastic and easy.  Great step by step instructions and every day, familiar ingredients.  Great book.

A truly unique cookbook, recipes with a balanced approach to maintaining a sensible diet whether through a wheat free regimen or helping yourself to look and feel healthy- I recommend it highly

Awesome cook book!! i love it!! this is a wonderful cookbook, so many great recipes even if you do not suffer from wheat allergies. Love the easy to navigate chapters!

Amazing! Amazing Cook Book! Lauren goes into great detail about the science behind wheat allergies, how to see if you have an intolerance and then packs the book with 300 recipes!  Even if you are not looking to become "wheat free" and just looking to lighten up and  cook healthier food, this book is perfect!
