The Evolution II

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Steve Leggett
The Evolution II is the third album from Larry Callahan & the Selected of God choir, and it arrives to considerably more attention than its predecessor The Evolution did in 2010. Callahan, a fine tenor singer and the pastor of Praise Tabernacle Church in Detroit, and the Selected of God, the choir he founded, came to the general public's attention when they were featured in Eminem's highly viewed and admired Chrysler commercial from 2011. Callahan and the choir continue blending traditional gospel with contemporary praise songs and sounds with this release, which was produced by Asaph Ward and Stephen Anderson-Day.
