Overview

Packed with spine-tingling intrigue and swoonworthy romance, the plot thickens in this YA fantasy from Amazon bestselling author, Rachel Morgan.

Guardian trainee Violet Fairdale is just weeks away from one of the most important occasions of her life: graduation. After messing up big time by bringing a human into the fae realm, Vi needs to step up her game and forget about Nate if she hopes to graduate as the top guardian of her year. Everything would be fine if she wasn’t forced to partner with Ryn, her ex-friend, ex-enemy, current ‘sort of friend’. They might be trying to patch up their relationship, but does she really want to spend a week undercover with him for their final assignment? On top of that, the possibly insane Unseelie Prince is still on the loose, free to ‘collect’ as many specially talented faeries as he can find—and Vi is still at the top of his list. Add in faerie queens, enchanted storms, complicated not-just-friends feelings, and a murder within the Guild itself, and graduation is about to become the least of Vi’s problems.

Holy crap on toast, I literally ripped through this book so fast

Holy crap on toast, I literally ripped through this book so fast. I had to keep knowing what was coming next. So many parts made me so happy in this book and yet there were so many oh my gosh moments that The Faerie Prince is impossible not to love.

In this book, I adore Violet even more. Her strength and her determination and even her ability to play into evils hands sometimes just made the book such an awesome one to follow. At the end though, I was really surprised by her and I'm so, so dang curious to see what happens next.

Oryn Larkenwood...oh me oh my. I shipped you in book one, and you have by far exceeded my shipping in The Faerie Prince. Ryn is just everything you love in a boy and more. He's protective, fun, easy-going, likes to joke, and well does the best best best things. Can I just say wet, carpet, and glow butts?! Yep, that is all. Ryn, you better be in all your glory in this last book or I will hunt you down.

The whole last 25% of the book was just a killer. So many crazy things, so many holy crap moments, and I didn't even finish yet I bought the next book because I knew I was going to need it! Rachel Morgan just killed the second installment of this series. Everything is amped up, fights, romance, happy moments, and twists. Just absolutely loving this series and cannot wait to dive into the final book, The Faerie War.

    Great read!

I am in awe of the series. Truly a page turner. Violet is a strong hardheaded girl with goals. And Ryn is a fiesty attractive faerie that has his own secrets! I would watch this series on the big screen. We need more "make things right" stories. Vi made a mistake and I cannot wait to read how she fixes it!!

I loved this series and I read all three books in a week. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fresh take on a Faerie story with a
strong female main character. The world building is fabulous and the situations the characters get into keep you turning the page.

Thank you Rachel Morgan for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Voilet is a Faerie. She is also Guardian in-training. Training to protect Humans and Faeries if need be from Fae threats. She is also driven to be the best in her glass. She intends to win the top spot in her graduating class. When she violated the two highest rules while protecting a human from a Fae threat, things got turned upside down. Nate was her assignment and he not only saw her but he followed her back to the Fae realm.

An evil Faerie kidnapped Nate and Violet where they learned his mother was Fae, making him not a human but a Halfling. Instead of giving Nate the Forget potion, she agrees to help him look for his mother and after finding and escaping her, Nate and Violet are separated.

After reading book one, I couldn't wait to get to book two. I was really excited to get a closer look at Ryn, Violet's school rival since they would be doing their final assignment together. One that will put them together for several days.

Ryn wasn't a disappointment at all. I loved him and Violet even grew on me more than in book one. She became a character I liked, for the most part. She does some idiotic things that made me want to smack her upside the head, but I think that is a sign of the author doing a good job that I should feel violence toward a character. She also broke my heart a little with the way she treated Nate when he came to her, desperate and afraid.

I don't think she deserved what she got, but she does bear a large portion of the responsibility for it.

The ending was a huge cliffhanger for which I'm terribly annoyed the third book isn't out yet. I will definitely be reading it when it does come out and can't wait. Rachel Morgan has made a fan out of me.

    Fast! fun!

…And the action picks up with the same frantic pace as we left in The Faerie Guardian! Can The Faerie Prince maintain the momentum of its predecessor? In a word-OH YEAH!-okay that’s two words, but you will NOT be disappointed here! Not only is book 2 full of twisty plotlines and HUGE surprises, but the romance element is ratcheted up as Violet and Ryn finally bury the hatchet and admit their attraction for each other, because really, these two need each other, we all knew it, now they do to! But what has happened to Nate? What happens at the Faerie Court? What’s going on with Zell? What startling revelations are revealed about Violet’s parents? And last-can a million glowing bug butts really be romantic?
Seriously, Rachel Morgan’s characters will draw you into their world, her scenes will set you down alongside the characters, and her plots will glue you to every single word! The Faerie Prince is fast-paced and intricately detailed with smooth flowing prose, humor, snark, attitude, and a budding romance. It also has a dark side, (cue the music), a sad side, (grab the hankie), and is just a delightful trip into a fantasy world full of adventure!

I would like to thank the author for gifting me this book for a honest review!!

Graduation time is coming and Violet is getting nervous on where she is ranking. After everything that happened with Nate, she is still trying to get over his betrayal. For her final assignment for graduation she gets paired up with
Ryn. Ryn seems to be trying to get past his brothers death. Things get crazy while they are on their assignment together. They start to get closer. Violet starts to have feelings for Ryn, but is afraid to get her heart broken again. Things get even more our of control when Zell and the Unseelie Queen show up and a fight breaks out. They are able to escape and have to get back to the Guild without their magic, and having to walk back. Ryn was always there for Violet and their relationship grows. I love how Ryn is able to move on and open up to Violet, you see this great side of Ryn. You also see this great side of Voilet, and is able to move on from Nate. We really dont see alot of Nate for a good part of the book. and then out of nowwhere comes Nate. Lots of things start getting revealed. Lots of twists. The ending was just crazy. I dont know why Violet does what she does at the end. But great book! Loved every part of it. I cant wait to read the third book!! Thanks again!!!
