Feyland is beautifully described in Kailin Gow's epic fantasy on the world of the fey. Breena is a heroine through and through.
The Fairy Letters is what I’ve been waiting for in the Frost series. Kailin Gow has answered all my questions and given me so much more than I expected with Kian's letters to Breena. Kailin Gow is an awesome writer and storyteller. The Fairy Letters gives tremendous insight to how it all began with Breena and Kian’s forbidden love when they were children, and the whole fairy history of Winter and Summer Court, plus how the bond between Breena's mother, Raine, and Kian's mother, the Winter Queen, started, and Kian's father’s death. Also Breena's father’s love for Raine, the Pixies, Realeaf’s hatred for Raine, Shasta and Rodney’s love for each other. I can't put everything into this review, but Kailin Gow leaves nothing unanswered, and give all the backstory to all the characters. What I loved most is finally seeing Kian's feelings and what he was going through during the time he and Breena were separated, when Kain gets the news that Breena and Logan are to be marry. This broke my heart. Kian the, Winter Prince, who never shows his feelings or emotions to expose his broken heart and eternal love for Breena, ripped my heart to pieces. The only thing that saved me here was I had read the next book Frost Kisses. The Fairy Letters is a great addition in the Frost series that you don't want to miss out on. Kian's letters to Breena gives deep insight that I have been waiting for, and Kailin Gow has done an excellent job of bringing the history of all these characters in the Frost series to light. I highly recommend The Fairy Letters a must read
