All Music Guide - Carol Wright

Thirteen years later, Netherlands composer Henk Alkema arranged the essence of Rowland's themes for grand piano played by Kate Williams and the Sylvan String Orchestra with woodwinds, horns, and harp. In Alkema's hands, the music springs to life with the impressionistic colors of Debussy and the rhapsodic sweep of Rachmaninoff. Soothing Piano/synthesizer

I have been using Mike Rowland's ''The Fairy Ring'' in my massage business for years because it is soothing and relaxing and I have gotten compliments on this music many times. Most all my clients fall asleep and wake up quite refreshed.

This is great but ''The Brighter Side'' was better

I wish he would send out ''The Brighter Side''. I have it on cassette from 1989 and it was incredible. I bought 3 cassettes and am now on the last one.
