    Assumptions of invulnerability

A very detailed account of the attack of Ft Eben Emael at the onset of WWII. Information is provided in exquisite detail, which does lead the reader to question the accuracy of it all. Of concern is that the author even states from the unset that other books have been written on the subject, but they were ¿rifle with inaccuracies¿. Should we just assume then that this account is accurate? The accounts of actual members of Task Force Granite lend more weight to the text, though I still feel that after so many years there may be some issues that are unintentionally altered. In all, well worth the reading. The mistakes of the Belgians is applicable in today¿s social climate and is an easy mistake for a military force. Forethought and imaginative thinking can mean the difference between success, holdout or just plain defeat.
