Overview

Vengeful and determined, Emily Stout and Adelpha have chased Heliena through the Forest of Angor, across the Great Plains, and all the way to the city of Lucifan. Their journey seems nearly complete, yet it has only just begun. In Lucifan, Heliena will reunite with her husband, a shogun from Juatwa, and all the allies her dark pact has acquired. Bringing her to justice will take everything they have, and perhaps more.
However, it isn’t a simple matter of cornering Heliena and taking her down. While they have traveled, Lucifan has come under assault—an attack not from an invading army, but from the corruption and greed grown within its own streets in spite of the best intentions of its guardians, the angels. A reckoning has come, and the battle for Lucifan’s soul is underway.
And Emily did not travel all this way to sit this one out.

Meet the Author

I was introduced to reading at a young age. My mother was determined that I become literate quickly and would read to me often, so much so that I memorized an entire 60-page book (there were lots of pictures). My grandmother, though, takes credit for my addiction to reading. She was a librarian and introduced me to the joy that is reading. It is no coincidence my first World of Myth novel is dedicated to her. My journey from avid reader to aspiring author took its first turn in High School after I read Dune by Frank Herbert. It was a great challenge for me at the age of 14, but I was so impressed with it that I began to imagine my own stories. What I wish to accomplish as an author is to do for my readers what I want other authors to do for me. I wish to be transported to another world when I read books. I want to get so absorbed that I lose track of everything around me. Once, I was so sucked into reading a novel that I didn't even realize my wife was trying to vacuum under my feet! If I can accomplish this for you, then I have done my duty. Good luck, and thanks for reading.
