Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

After four emotion-attacking Enemy installments, it seemed impossible that Charlie Higson's Fallen would actually heighten the intensity of this zombie-like monster series, but it does. Maxie, Blue, Ollie, and the rest of the Holloway crew now need to go into overdrive to find ways to terminate the insidious invaders before they can devour the remaining survivors of London. (P.S. This exclusive edition contains a comic based on a scene in the book.)

Meet the Author

Charlie Higson
Charlie Higson is an acclaimed comedy writer, producer, actor, and genuine James Bond aficionado. He is the author of the adult thrillers Full Whack and King of the Ants; the internationally best-selling Young Bond series: SilverFin, Blood Fever, Double or Die, Hurricane Gold, and By Royal Command; and five books in the Enemy series. Charlie is a fan of zombie movies and believes that we shouldn't try to prevent young people from experiencing fear, because it helps prepare them for later life. When writing The Enemy, he kept racheting up the action and description in an attempt to frighten the pants off his ten-year-old son. He lives in London. Awesome!

One of his best books yet! Connecting all the stories in just a way that makes me sad when it ends! The ending is probably the biggest cliff-hanger I have ever read! 10/10 Charlie Higgson!

    Worth the read.

I love how this book, like the rest of the series, is written so that the reader knows what is happening to a group of kids at the same time as another group of kids in a previous book. Also, this book is pivotal in that we finally learn where the disease came from!

    Another great one!

I found this book to be a little weirder then the others, but it was still very good. It kept me reading for 2 days. I can not wait for the next one. I wish this one was longer and was more about Ed and Sam. Hopefully, the next book does not take so long to come out.

    Eirden

She crouches in the high grass, her eyes set on a newborn wildebeast. She runs through the grass and chases the young calf for a few minutes and catches up to it. She pounces on the animal and bites its neck until it suffocates. She drags it away to a secluded spot under a tree where no lion will see her to eat her catch. She wants to roar, but she is mute.
