    Great cost or time saving tips.

    This is a "how to" magazine for non-professionals with tips that just make sense and don't break the bank to get equipment that will have little use after the original project. Like life, more than one field of interest of home improvement. Good photo explainations. Less ads than most trade magazines.

    Not worth even if were offered for free!

    Look I am a wood worker/ novice plumber/ painter/ novice electrician/ novice a/c heating repairman/ pest controller/ gardner/ lawnboy/ husband and nothing in this magazine could ever help me with things around the house. This is one long advertisement for crap that wouldn't even make in a real man's tool box or garage. Do they show you how to install a disposal? Or how about installing an exterior motion detection light? How about snaking out your main sewer line when half of your house's drains stop working? How about fixing a leaking faucet? Or installing a dishwasher? The answer is no to all these things that a "handyman" would need to know and more. This mag is written for DIY''ers yet it contains nothing to actually do. The only thing I have learned is that this mag needs to be taken out with trash and as the first act of a handyman I think my project was a success.

    I love this magazine in paper

    I love this magazine in paper and I like it quite a bit in Nook format. What I'd like to see, and the reason why I don't give it 5 stars, is a version of this which is tailored for the smaller format because although I can usually see the print, it's awfully small and sometimes I've got to put too much effort into seeing the text.

    Great DIY magazine!

    I've been a subscriber to the print edition for several years and just made the switch to the electronic version (Nook HD+). The content looks great. I only wish they had an annual CD/DVD with the issues available like some of the other magazines offer.

    Worthwhile on the NST

    Enjoy reading this mag the Simple touch. No in depth articles, but good learning tools and tips.

    More ads than anything...

    The magazine was full of ads, but not much details on the projects in the issues. I tried it for six issues, then canceled it. To bad I like the idea of an emagizine. Maybe I'll find one I like better.
