He shares stories of his family, friends, and the laidback Jamaican culture, and reveals what makes him tick, where he gets his motivation, and where he takes his inspiration. He tells of the dedication and sacrifices required to get to the top, and also discusses fast food, partying, music, fast cars, and that signature lightning bolt pose.

Meet the Author

Usain Bolt is a twenty-five-year-old phenomenon. At the 2008
Summer Olympic Games, he won gold in the 100m (9.69 seconds),
the 200m (19.30 seconds), and the 4x100m relay (37.10 seconds).
He became the first man to win three sprinting events at a single Olympics since Carl Lewis in 1984. More amazingly, Bolt is the first man to set world records in all three events at a single
Olympics. At the World Championships in 2009, Bolt astonished the crowd by breaking the world records for both the 100m (9.58
seconds) and the 200m (19.19 seconds). He lives in Jamaica.

    To below

I think you're just jealous of his amazing talent. I'm a high school student and I'm the #1 runner in the US, just like him, but he's one of the best worldwide. Trust me, you don't know if he cheats. He doesn't show off his skills and everything. If you're saying that to a national worldwide famous runner, you're extremely offensive. I admit that you're entitled to your own opinions, however whatever you said is like as if you're able to do just as well as him. You, my friend, are very arrogant and stubborn. I suggest that you keep the critism to yourself.
