A mixture of good and mediocre works

I could not get in to "The Prophet," "Dress Your Marines," or the sample chapters from those authors, so I won't comment on them.

Legacy Lost- This was a disappointing story. The main character is insufferable and I had little interest in his love story. He hates Nalia for petty reasons then those feelings immediately turned to love when he saw how attractive she grew. The bonus chapter for "Of Poseidon" wasn't any better. The main character is a confident klutz who has super special powers or is the chosen one. And guess what, she is white and blonde! At least "Legacy Lost" seemed descriptive and well-written, "Of Poseidon" had poor dialogue and an immature feel.

The Witch of Duva- This was the highlight of the anthology. A haunting work with a shocking ending. The bonus chapter for "Shadow and Bone" was not as engaging, but I liked the set up for the protagonist and her childhood friend.

Glitches- I've liked Marissa Meyer's writing when she wrote fanfiction for Sailor Moon, and this is no different. An interesting beginning for her take on Cinderella.

    Love Marissa Meyers' work

Fantastic author, the first story was ok but harsh bwcause it showed that he only loved her when she became pretty. Dont be a judger. The othwr stories were a mix of drama and horror.
