The Final battle rocked but is it over?

This is another review that's tough to write without being a spoiler. The Final Battle is a good conclusion to several story lines and was too long in coming for someone hooked on Helfort's War from the beginning. The wrap up is satisfying and (spoiler Alert) opens a door on further doings in the Helfort universe. I'll keep an eye out for any new battles to come.

    A solid fast paces read!

Graham Sharp Paul is a solid SF Space Opera author. This "Helfort's War" series has been excellent from start to finish. Often the final book in a series will fail to live up to the pace or excitement of the previous books, but that did not happen here. I will not here give away the plot. Suffice it to say that our hero, Mr Helfort is in as many scrapes and seemingly impossible situations as always, but this time some are worse, much much worse -- like being executed for example. The author does not spend time on lots and lots of detail and the story is told completely from Mr. Helfort's eyes. This allows the pace to take off at a run and never slow down. I highly recommend this whole series.
