I was eleven years old when Watergate happened and have always been fascinated with this period of history. I have read numerous books on Richard Nixon and Watergate and this book is by far the most captivated book written on the subject to date. I couldn't put the book down, it just drew me in. I think Bob Woodward is the best political Writer of our time.

If there was a "part 2" of "All the President's Men" this is it. It's a continuance of the fall of our nation's leader. Not as gripping of a page-turner as its predecessor, but interesting and informative nontheless. If you liked Woodward & Bernstein's first offering, this book is highly recommended. It wraps up the whole saga nicely.

The Final Days was a long but great read about the ending of the Nixon presidency. After the Watergate scandal broke, it tells the story of Nixon's response and his cabinets response as well. "I am not a crook" is defined and amazingly told through this book.

This book was given to me years ago. I just decided to give it a go. Nothing new to add to the chronicles. Gets caught up in too many insignificant details. Still a decent read.

JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU COULD IMAGINE ABOUT BEHIND THE SCENES IN THE WHITE HOUSE, AND PARTICULARLY IN THE OVAL OFFICE, IS EXPERTLY CHRONICLED BY bOB WOODWARD. bUT ON CLOSE EXAMINATION (AND RECOLLECTION) NOTHING REALLY NEW, UNLESS YOUR INTEREST LIES IN WHAT COLOR NECKTIES WERE BEING WORN, ETC. sEEMS TO BE A CUT AND PASTE JOB TO ME. bUT i LOVED READING IT!
