A favorite of parents, educators, and therapists since the appearance of the first title in 1978, more than a million copies of these "draw-from-your-imagination" books have been sold around the world. Praised as "extraordinary, revolutionary" (Newsweek), "imaginative" (The Christian Science Monitor), and "great stuff" (Detroit Free Press), this innovative series has continued to spark the creative impulses in children through the years.
Ordinary coloring books inhibit a child's inventiveness with drawings that simply require them to color within the lines. This "anti-coloring" book was designed as an antidote to traditional coloring books, offering children the chance to create their own images.

I was told that these books are so fun and children love them. I went to the book store to buy one, and some of what I saw was...what would you look like if you were very fat....If you could commit a crime what would it be....draw the person you hate most of all and name them. What are we teaching our children

I loved this book. It will be great if you are my age, 8, or any other age. All you need to do is read, draw, and think. For example, if you discovered a poisonous flower in your garden, what would it look and smell like, what is it named, how do you know it was poisonous, and how big is it? I named mine Elaphantin Pobiscut, wrote that it was disovered on a planet, Earth 2 (which I created on the first activity in the Anti-Coloring Book), wrote that my dog died after smelling it, said it was very common, and said it was 2 inches x 2 inches, or 2 inches squared I would go on forever, but I am done. I just want to say that I reccomend it to you, whoever you are.
