STATS: 423 nook pages. Urban fantasy romance. A couple rated R make-outs. Parallel dimensions, demons, magi, griffins, etc. Typical story of a human girl with a tragic backstory who has special powers she must learn to wield. Lots of characters, intrigue, traitors, and twists. Fight scenes were rushed and gory, while anything sexual was drawn out and detailed. I didn't like it well enought to justify paying for the $4.99 sequel.

New worlds where Humans are thought of as myths. A taste of hot Demon desire and some unrest in the kingdom. Excellent ingredients to get you hooked into the story of Alexandra and Balthazar. Alexandra has no idea what she's capable of but she'll need to tap into to her hidden potential to help the Demon she's becoming attached to. Quick moving with characters you instantly come to care about. Read Now!

Interesting story. Fight scenes were indeed rushed. It was nice to read about something supernatural that didn't involve vampires. It was a neat idea.

Quick read, decent plot. Loved how the heroine kept her personality through out the story. Hate when something unsuspecting happens and the main character turns into a twit. Good job!

A fantastic, well thought out story that suprisingly had quite a bit of substance to it. Although the book should have been edited better. ( words like "diner" instead of "dinner", etc) It was annoying to have to stop and figure out what the author was trying to write. However, I still give 4 stars because the story was so entertaining that I didnt want to put it down. I would love to read more from this author, I just hope she proof reads better in the future. -Jennifer Keller

Really enjoyed it especially the second time. Can't wait to buy book two; highly recommend the first book.

Once I got past the fact that Alexandra was a child, yes, 17 is a child, it was a good story. Alex's reactions to certain situations are childlike so it can be a little exhausting. However, her pain and fear and her happiness is very well conveyed in this book. I found myself feeling her pain and holding my breath with her fears. I like Balthazar as well, though he is a hard headed man or demon I should say. His mom Lady Caroline is very crafty and I really like her. I was impressed with this and I will be buying the other two books.

worth reading... Total Pages: 423; Story Pages: 418; free e-book Demons and a human teenager meet when the human teenager is thrust into the demon's dimension. The human female falls for the main character demon during many battles, etc. Not a bad read. Thinking about getting the next book in the series, maybe.

This book was really good with setting and characters. The reason i give this book five stars is when i started to read this book it was confusing but as i kept reading not giving up the author tied them together making this book five star material.

I always give an author one chapter to catch my interest, and i had to struggle to make it through. Let me sum what I read up. A girl gets up, has a conversation with her aunt that is probably meant to draw my interest but doesn't serve its purpose, goes out to eat with her guy friend, and then trips and falls on her face in front of some other guy she finds attractive. Ho hum. Get an editor. If you have one, get a better one. Linear storytelling doesn't always work. You need to get the readers attention and show them what your story is about it the first chapter. Pull them in. I know i'm not the only one who isn't going to give you my time if you can't do that.
