    welcome to the dark Elves

This is a collection of the first 3 of the series which follows Malus Darkblade through his damnation at the hands of the Daemon Tz'arkan and quest to free his soul, and kill anyone that stands in the way. While I wont give away too much of the story, you can find it on Wiki if you really want, the story is dark, witty, and very easy to follow for anyone that doesn't have any background in the Warhammer universe so its a good place to start. While this collection will bring you in to most facits of the world of the Dark Elves; religion, economy, even family dynamics, it will also open doors to all the other elements of the Warhammer universe; daemons, history, political relationships. So if you looking to wade in to the waters of the Warhammer world or simply looking for a good read this book comes highly recommend.

    Spellbinding and pure adrenaline.

I don't write many reviews, but the Chronicles of Malus Darkblade deserve a fan mention. The novel is very fast pace and never lets off of the gas. The book is very bloody, so it is not for everyone (i.e. Little Ones), but for those of you who love swords and sorcery this is a book that is a must read.

    I Also Recommend:

My first venture into reading WOW books

All I can say is WOW!(pun intended)Bought this book for my grandson and got hooked immediately. What an intense, dark world and an anti-hero to love despite his evil ways. If you are put off by blood and gore then this book is not for you because the body count is off the charts. Still, it is a great intro to the world of Dark Elves and WOW. Malus is such a bad guy, evil, selfish, self-centered and tormented and you cant help but like him since in the rhelm of Dark Elves it is "him against the world." His stubborn determination to win against all odds and opposition just can not be denied and makes you like him. Despite the bad guy that he is the opposition is worse. There is a tiny spark of honor and courage and sense of responsibility toward his faceless troops but watch out if you are personally involved with him. Don't get in his way or you are toast. Great book. Get the Omnibus books 1 & 2 because they contain all the stories about this Dark Elf in the two books. I am waiting for more stories about Malus Darkblade and his world.

    more from this reviewer

    Don't question Malus Darkblade!

Aw man. This book has to be the most intense book I have in my library. Abnett, Lee give so much detail about the characters, and action I get goose bumps. Malus is evil but aw man is he beast! I'm not even close to finish the book. I'm on page 200. But I can tell you this being this little in the book and getting hyper every time I read it the book must be intense to the 30th power when I progress further on in the book.
