Here is a brief bio for Paul Holmes.
As president of Multimedia International, a company making training and marketing programs, Paul produced 'What is Multimedia', one of the first such programs on a CD.
In 1990, Paul's company, supported by Philips Electronics and others started the International CD-Interactive Association. Paul became the ICDIA's Chief Executive Officer.
In the mid 90s with the introduction of DVD, ICDIA became the Digital Video Disc Association (DVDA) and focused entirely on supporting the introduction of DVD.
During his time as DVDA's first chairman and CEO, Paul served as an international judge in multimedia competitions, organized many conferences, workshops and awards ceremonies, both in Europe and here in the US, including the first ever International DVD awards. In 2007 Paul was inducted into the DVDA Hall of Fame in Hollywood.
Following his retirement Paul now lives in Florida and as a hobby he presents workshops on how to create your very own books, then how to turn them into talking books on DVD.
Paul has published seven books.
