My daughter purchased this book for a college research project. (She received an A on her paper.) I also read Ms. Sherwood's book and was extremely impressed with the quality of her writing and obvious depth of knowledge regarding America's First Ladies. I was amazed at the power and influence many of the women profiled in this book have had on the history of our country.
Heard the author speak at a woman's club meeting...wonderful, entertaining. Can't wait to receive my book!
Of all the books on First Ladies of the United States, this one is the only one I have found interesting, informative and entertaining. Deborah Jones Sherwood, where have you been! I understand you have a web site and give speeches about our First Ladies so I am now going to get the details! Congratulations on a wonderful book!
