About the Author

Epi Torres is one of very few individuals who have been able to accomplish lasting weight loss and fitness improvement, according to statistics kept by the National Weight Control Registry. Epi was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He holds a 1979 Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Capitol College in Maryland. In 2005, he became certified as an Associate Certified Meta-Coach by the ISNS (International Society of Neuro-Semantics). After college, he joined his father’s electronic retail business (Epitronics) in Puerto Rico as a Store Manager. In 1981, Epi left the family business to join Westinghouse Elec-tric as an Engineer where he ascended through the management ranks and spent fifteen very successful years. In 1997, he became Chief Operating Officer of Pittsburgh-based Contemporary Technologies, Inc. In 2005, Epi became CEO of CTI’s remote database administration services division, Remote DBA Experts. In 2010, he took time off from running his business in order to finish this book, which he started writing in 2003. In addition, he also developed an iPad App of the same name. He has lived in Pittsburgh, PA since 1987.
