The Fly / The Fly II [Original Motion Picture Soundtracks]

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide
Written by Canadian composer and longtime David Cronenberg collaborator Howard Shore, the musical score for Cronenberg's 1986 horror movie classic, The Fly, leans heavily on dramatic flourishes and neo-operatic stylings. Christopher Young's music for its sequel, The Fly II, is of a more conventional bent, but no less impressive for that, and some passages, notably parts of the "Bartok Barbaro" sequence, convey a genuine chill.
