I just attended the book review Mr. Terbush put on here in Colorado. I was very impressed at his ability/gift to put together this trilogy with such personal conviction and optimism for our youth. I was truly inspired and intrigued to learn more about this book and the various layers it possesses. This will make great stocking stuffers too.

The book is the first in a trilogy by Tom Terbush. I enjoyed the book very much and the end left me hungry for the next installment. The book is vintage fantasy sci-fi, which has some of the qualities of Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia, but with a bit darker feel. I started this adventure the morning after my wife had finished reading it the day before. Fortunately, I had the day off because I could not put it down and finished late that night. A compelling journey that has fresh insight and subtle commentaries into life in western society. Loved the approach from the author as to how problems and situations were handled, fresh and innovative! Will be buying more copies for my friends and am looking forward to the next 2 installments.
