    Andy Rooney At His Best!

    Yes, Andy Rooney, the brilliant journalist from "60 Minutes". He was a highly regarded war correspondent during WWII and very much admired by all. Less than 20 years after the war ended he wrote this in depth analysis of four brutal, with details that are stomach turning, battles of the war, Tarawa, Stalingrad, D Day and the Battle of the Bulge. Should be required reading for all History classes. The only negative is that this digitized version is full of typo's, hard to decipher portions and photos that do not come through :( However, a great Free Ebook overall.

    Terrible copy

    Text jumbled, pictures not viewable. Complete waste of time!

    wello rounded and insightful

    learned more specifics about the Russian front,also more tech stuff about Battle of the Bulge.Didn't realize Tarawa was worse then any of the other south Pacific Islands.Always liked Andy Rooney.He just passed.I'll miss him even more,knowing what I have learned about him.

    Great book!!!!!

    Andy Rooney is brilliant on 60 minutees and shows his brilliance in this amazing book.
