Reminds me of Jimmy Buffet! I've been a fan of his for years.

Most of the songs make you happy and make you dance. A couple make you think. That's a great balance in any music!!

After hearing this band perform at the Grammy's award show, I couldn't get them out of my mind. I gave this CD to my husband for Valentine's Day. The choice coming from me surprised him, but we spent the afternoon playing the CD start to finish three times. The tunes and lyrics are easily picked up and fun to sing along with, regardless of your talent.
Your toes can't help but tap, epecially to "Boats in the Water". Today we'll test the "driveability" qualities of the CD when we go out of town. Altogether a fun CD. I'm giving a copy to my son for his birthday this month.

I love this CD. It was hard to find but well worth the effort. I've played it for other people who also want to go buy it now that they've heard it.

I don't know who could listen to this album and not smile most of the time. I love the way the band combines rock, country and regae into a very listenable, catchy set of songs. The last song is not exactly PETA-approved, but really ends the CD on a humorous note!

I rarely purchase CD's anymore since I listen to Satalite Radio but I love the new Zack Brown song "Whatever It Is" so I broke down and purchased this CD. It definitely is one you will want to keep for your collection of great music since all of the songs are good. Many of them will not make the radio play list so you need the CD to truly enjoy and appreciate this band. Awesome!!

Riding high at the top of the country charts with "Chicken Fried," Georgia native Zac Brown has made a sizzling debut. Updating country-music bona fides (he's an ace flatpicker) with jam-band sonics and even a bit of reggae, Brown and his band are dazzling bluegrass fans and Nashville regulars alike. All Music Guide - Mark Deming
Now that Jimmy Buffett has tried repositioning himself as a country artist by cutting duets with the likes of Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney and Clint Black, it should come as no surprise that the Parrothead influence has begun making its way into Nashville, and the first major-label effort from Zac Brown features not one ...
