I love Sabrina's books. This is a great short story.
This is a story about a man that has taken his wife for granted. He choose her because he thought she would make a great wife. She is a great wife, but does not feel appreciated. Along comes a new maid and makes her fell beautiful and wanted. She now needs to make her husband see that.

I have to give it a three star rating. Not because I hated it, but because the story is only about 20 pages long. I live my reads a little longer than that, even if only for my commute. That said, it's a good intro into what Jefferies can do.

Great author!

The story was so cute for a short love tale. I know it was like 30 pages long, but very enjoyable. The ending was so touching. This is the first e-book I've read from Sabrina Jeffries and I'd probally read more of her work. I am a sucker for heart felt tales.

Not enough to develop a character, a conflict or even a sense of drama. Not worth the time or the money!

I started this short novel on Saturday March 10th 2012.
Lady Eleanor agreed to marry Lord Langston the prime minister was marrying her. Thier anniversary was two days away. But he had forgotten her birthday when it came. He locked himself in his study all day and night. He only goes into her bedroom on Wednesday's. Her husband had a surprise for her in the morning. It was a new French Maid her name was Bakette. He was a big shot in England. This new French Maid gave Eleanor a daring new dress. He loved it on her. He was kissing her and he had a hard on and lean pressing her into his
body while he was kissing her. His kisses were more fervent than usual. They made passionate love making that night for the first time. They went to her parents house for a couple days because he had forgotten that is was thier anniversary and he was working late that night though. He was an ass myself like Babette did. I enjoyed this novel very much. ShelleyMa

I was expecting a long book but it had only 30 pages all together......however I loved it. Romance of an entire 200 page book sweetly done in a short story. Would love to read more of this author

Overview
Lady Eleanor Langston has a problem: her husband Henry, prime-minister-in-the-making, is too caught up in his work to notice her. Despite her involvement in his various public appearances, she feels shut out of his life, especially with their one-year anniversary looming. When Henry hires a highly recommended French lady’s maid without consulting her, Eleanor’s anger can't be contained—until she meets her. With Babette’s help, Eleanor arms herself with the one weapon that will make Henry notice her as a woman—her inner siren.
