Jordan Maerin holds a degree in Philosophy from Michigan State University. She first tended bar in two upscale piano bars in Detroit from 1986 to 1992, and has worked in bars and restaurants for almost 20 years. She has been a vegetarian since 1982, at the age of 15, and since discovering raw foods in 2003, she has sought to enthusiastically make the healthiest foods on the planet simpler and more fun for more people.
