a mouth watering selection of recipes

This is the perfect book for anyone who wants to eat delicious food. It is well organized and once you pick it up you won't be able to put it down. I was drawn in by the short introduction to each recipe as well as the recipes themselves. They are creative, mouth watering and surprisingly easy to cook. This is a must have book for everyone whether you are a seasoned chef or just starting out. These 200 new recipes are a treasure trove waiting to be explored. I Love it!!!

    Highly Recommend!

I picked up this book this morning, and already can't wait to start cooking! I've followed the authors' blog, Two Fat Als, and totally recommend their recipes, which are always easy and delicious. This book is great for anyone who is into simple, fresh cooking (or wants to be)!

    Frugal??? Are you KIDDING ME?

BEWARE! THIS IS NOT A FRUGAL COOKBOOK!

This is a regular cookbook, that some idiot decided to put FRUGAL in the title to sell books.

Most recipes will cost $10-15 to make. HOW is that frugal? I'm aiming to spend less than $5 per DAY for my whole family!

The most frugal thing suggested is pancakes and waffles. DUH. After that, the book is all about expensive, exotic and ridiculous ingredients. Goat cheese, wine, 6 cups of fruit (for one recipe!), crab meat, special olives-- these are NOT FRUGAL!

I'm so disappointed in this book. I need how to STRETCH my money, not waste it.

If you are looking for a regular cookbook, this is fine. If you are looking for a FRUGAL cookbook, look elsewhere.

    Absolutely wonderful!

As someone who has personally enjoyed the authors' culinary expertise, I can't recommend a better duo for teaching cooking. The recipes are wonderful and as simple and easy to master as they say they are. Go out and buy the book today!

    Bravo!

I have feared the kitchen my entire life. After building up the courage to face my fears, I looked for a smart and clever cookbook that could start me out. I'd heard the buzz around these two young authors, so I figured I'd give it a chance... and I wasn't the least bit disappointed!

This cookbook is well written, organized, and great for all ages and budgets. The stories that come with the recipes make it a more personal and rewarding experience than simply following directions. I highly recommend it, especially for the student who would like to build their culinary repertoire.

    Perfect for students!!

I have two college students living on their own for the first time and I found this to be a perfect little cookbook for them. They both love to eat with their friends and not spend a lot of money so The Frugal Foodie is right up their alley! Young professionals will also enjoy the organic and wholesome theme of this book.

This is the perfect cookbook for me

This book is a delight to read because the recipes are straight forward with clear concise directions. Each recipe has the price per serving listed along with it. These are not the usual boring recipes you see in most cookbooks. I just bought it and I can't wait to start cooking.
