Overview

This book endeavors to change the common understanding of ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia. The author proposes that the majority of people with ADD, ADHD, and Dyslexia – see static. As a result of this static there is an opportunity to diagnose people with Dyslexia, ADD and ADHD at a very early age. The book also explains how you can help define the specific color static that a person sees so that tinted glasses can be secured to help eliminate this static in most people. Also discussed is how to remove part of the static through trace minerals, and the process of how people with Dyslexia ADD, and ADHD can get down to one thought at a time (people with dyslexia and ADD/ADHD can think about three separate and distinct things at the same time.)

About the Author

Mark grew up in Southern California & attended school in what was considered a “good” district for quality education. In the 1980s when he attended high school, however, Special Education was in its infancy. It was only in 1975 that special education programs were made mandatory when the U.S Congress passed the Education for All Handicapped Children Act (EHA).
In third grade, the decision was made to remove Mark from regular classes and place him in special education. The school administrators went thru the formality of giving Mark an IQ test. With total disregard for the test result, because the decision had already been predetermined, Mark was told to march off to the special education class without an escort to accompany him and introduce him to the class for a smooth transition.

Despite enduring 6 years of mindless busy work, where Mark felt he learned nothing compared to what his brothers, sister and other children learned in “normal” classes, Mark's parents fought for him to be transferred to “normal” classes in the ninth grade. In his senior year, Mark went on to receive the Rotary Club's Floyd M. Merrick Award for the Most Improved Student. He had indeed improved in the eyes of the educators considering he went from special education in 9th grade to College Preparatory English in 12th grade. Mark achieved an Associates of Arts degree at Mount San Antonio College, in Walnut California. He went on to finish his studies by graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography at California State University at Long Beach.

After dealing with Dyslexia and what medical professionals call Attention Deficit Disorder first-hand on a daily basis for decades, Mark is a credible source to educate others on the topics Dyslexia & ADD.

Mark worked as a Field Service Engineer for 20 years. He currently lives in the Pacific North West.
