Secrets will be revealed and the lives of four people will be shattered as they learn that who they are and where they come from is not at all what they always believed.

Fragile Perrie Matheson is on the run to protect her beloved son. Too ill to travel further with a winter storm on the way, she has no choice but to gamble her child's safety on a man who wants only to be left alone.

But during days spent together in the mountain cabin, Mitch and Perrie each find surprises in store...and all the reasons they should stay apart battle with the yearnings of hearts too long denied love.

A lifelong avid reader, at the age of forty-five with no experience and no training, she decided to see if she could write a book. It was a wild leap that turned her whole life upside down, but she would tell you that though she’s never been more terrified, she’s never felt more exhilarated or more alive. She’s an ardent proponent of not putting off your dreams until that elusive ‘someday’—take that leap now.

    more from this reviewer

    loved it

these three books all connect to a family and a family friend, love is in the air for everyone. Nice story lines, some predictable parts but we all are looking for that fantasy or else we wouldn't be reading these types of books.

    Awesome

    ## I truly enjoyed reading this series. The stories are each outstanding and the characters well thought out. Both the heroes and heroines are fantastically flawed but amazing nonetheless. I love the way the author has them get to know each other. So much emotion leaps off the page. Definitely a must read!
