Kudos to Seven Realms Publishing! I enjoy reading anthologies...I grew up reading Alfred Hitchcocock's Mystery Magazine. This anthology, as described in the synopsis, is cleverly based on a classic adventure "The Most Dangerous Game" which was assigned reading in many schools. These authors spin fresh new takes on the theme of man being hunted.
The stories are entertaining and a great way to introduce some great writers who are not "mainstream". I'm definitely intrigued enough to try some other works by some of the authors. You will, too.

I am currently reading this collection of stories based on the classic, 'The Most Dangerous Game.' The first story in the book is Rick Chesler's version which, once again, proves to me that Rick does his research. I finished it in one day because, in spite of the fact that I know the original story and because of that, ultimately, know the ending, I was enthralled reading how Mr. Chesler turned the hunted into the hunter. It is obvious by the turn of events that the author is familiar with the Fiji islands, the modes of transportation to get there and, yes, even the types of weapons mentioned. I would write more but need to get back now to J. Kent Holloway's story. Thanks, Sean Ellis, for bringing together wonderful authors and their creativity in making something old seem new again! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
