The General

"The General" is a love story. It's about a man who becomes a military hero, only to find his world crumbling around him. Yet, even against the backdrop of World War II, people still find it in their hearts to care for one another. As we follow the General through his ordeal, we witness human beings coming together to love and support each other while surviving the most horrific of circumstances.

A French nurse is murdered, and her son is cared for by poor Jewish refugees until he discovers his identity and finds his ancestral home in the heart of Germany. We follow his restless search for answers about the war as he reunites with his grandfather, Baron Von Helsing. He takes a misguided path, and both he and his father suffer as a result.

A daughter, a survivor of the death camps, seeks only revenge for the death of her parents-unaware that they, too, survived the war. Tragically, they never know that any of them have lived.

Despite Germany being left in ruins by the Nazis, their radical ideology refuses to die. Many of the Führer's most vicious and loyal followers have survived-and are quietly making plans for the rise of a Fourth Reich.
