Haine, now an Otomiya, is appointed to the student council of the exclusive Imperial Academy, a private school for the aristocracy. Even though Haine is of proper lineage to be on the council, she finds herself struggling to find her place among the many secrets of its elite members, especially those of the president who holds her heart—Shizumasa Togu, aka "the Emperor."

Haine learns Shizumasa's secret and must continue to act as if nothing has changed amidst her conflicting emotions. As the members of the student council plan a school play, will Haine be able to maintain Shizumasa's deception in front of the others?

Meet the Author

Arina Tanemura began her manga career in 1996 when her short stories debuted in Ribon magazine. Tanemura gained fame with the 1997 publication of I•O•N, a high school romance with a supernatural twist. From 1998 to 2000, she worked on the popular series Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, about a young girl who is the reincarnation of Joan of Arc, followed by Time Stranger Kyoko in 2000–2001 and Full Moon in 2002. Despite Tanemura's intentions to draw in a style that makes her stories difficult to animate, both Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne and Full Moon have been adapted into TV series.

Maora is my favorite character and I woulb like everyone to know that this volume (over half) is all about Maora. As you all know, Maora is a boy and loves Maguri, but now you learn a secret about him that will make you want to reread all the other volumes.

I was shocked when I found out Maora is a boy, he is really good at acting like a girl. I was even shocked when he admitted he was the mail man (but not as much). Maora is my one of my favorite characters and he is always full of surprises!

I was once forced to read it but now I love it. I first tought that it was crazy to read a book backwards but then when I stared to read them I notice that tons of people started to read them and they were readding them the wrong way until I told them look at the cover. NOw I have the most manga book in my circle of friends and I was the last to start reading them
