The witty repartee between Marian and Darley was expertly written, and just plain fun to read! I absolutely loved the story, a favorite trope of enemies to lovers and set in Regency England! What's not to love?

Lady Marian is titled, has no dowry, but is set to sacrifice to have her sister marry well. Finding a catch in a wealthy man she doesn't love, she finds herself battling wits against his best friend, a rogue with questionable means. Both carry secrets, and as all is uncovered, they discover they love each other.
