About the Author

Clem Stambaugh’s first collection of
poetry, 2020’s In Black and Light, quickly rose
to be a No. 1 seller on Amazon upon release.
The original release of The Ghosts of Gold, likewise,
reached No. 1 on Amazon when released in
September 2023. Clem is so happy to have
this special Barnes & Noble edition with its
five bonus poems. He lives in Lexington,
Kentucky, with his spouse, Ben Kincer. Clem
is a graduate of the University of Kentucky,
where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s
degrees from the College of Fine Arts. He is a
full-time employee of UK’s College of
Dentistry and serves as a longtime elected
member of the Staff Senate.
Poetry is his passion.
