Alone

Sienna Nealon was a 17 year-old girl who had been held prisoner in her own house by her mother for twelve years. Then one day her mother vanished, and Sienna woke up to find two strange men in her home. On the run, unsure of who to turn to and discovering she possesses mysterious powers, Sienna finds herself pursued by a shadowy agency known as the Directorate and hunted by a vicious, bloodthirsty psychopath named Wolfe, each of which is determined to capture her for their own purposes...

Untouched

Still haunted by her last encounter with Wolfe and searching for her mother, Sienna Nealon must put aside her personal struggles when a new threat emerges – Aleksandr Gavrikov, a metahuman so powerful, he could destroy entire cities – and he's focused on bringing the Directorate to its knees.

Soulless

After six months of intense training with the Directorate, Sienna Nealon finds herself on her first assignment - tracking a dangerous meta across the upper midwest. With Scott Byerly and Kat Forrest at her side, she'll face new enemies and receive help from unlikely allies as she stumbles across the truth behind the shadowy organization known only as Omega.

I read the first book and then I saw how many more there were and was like never mind, but here is the box set and book 2 & 3 are just as good as the first so I've changed my mind. I highly recommend this book series and you get three for free. Awesome story line, originality, suspense and kick butt fighting. I love Sien and her wisecracks. The girl has guts. It great to see her mature and grow. Check it out u want regret it.

LOVE this storyline! I got this for two reasons... it was recommended by a friend, and it was a free trial. I was NOT disappointed! In fact, I was more than pleasantly surprised. The writing is well done, and easy to read. Also - the editing is fabulous! I've gotten some free books that were just a mess to read! The characters are well written and "real". The "scenes" are filled with colorful descriptions, action and suspense. The fights are pretty straight forward and not OTT! I love the sarcasm and wit! Give it a shot - you will very much enjoy it!

In this box set, Crane has created a rich world filled with secret organizations that keep an eye on Metas, people with extraordinary abilities that go beyond the normal human range, and Sienna is one of them.  So is her missing mother. Crane does a spectacular job of filling a reader's mind with questions. Who and what is Sienna? Why is she so important? Who can she trust? And why in the world did her mother always demand that she remain fully clothed - with gloves - even when she slept?? These books were page turners, keeping my interest throughout.

This was more than the angst of a teenager growing up! The story line evolved smoothly. The writer shared a firm grasp of and understanding of the human psyche. Look forward to reading more of his work.

Reading fantasy stories is a guilty pleasure that transforms the stress of daily life into another world of good vs evil. In that world, heroes and heroines play out dramas that have origins in legend. The girl in the box series answers that desire and gives the reader something to look forward to as each chapter comes to its conclusion. Once you start the series, you will be drawn into this world and the lives of all the chharacters.

So I was stoked to get 3 books for 1 who doesn't like to read. What I didn't expect was to fall in love with the books and burn through them in 4 days flat. The fights are awesome (and there's lots) the characters are wonderful and the plots are great. I'm already into the 5th book! I highly recommend this series.

I got this because it was three books for free and teenage girl with super powers sounds good to me....loved it and am now hooked and will be paying to read the others. $5 a book isn't to bad, wish they had more bundles since there are so many books but worth the read!

Got this (as I get most of my books) as a free book. FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SERIES! These books have caused me many late nights because I cant stop reading. The characters are flawed but you can't help rooting for them. After I read all of the girl in the box and girl out of the box series to date,I started on the Sanctuary series because I like this author's writing style so much. I only wish he could write faster because after reading 21 of Robert J Crane's books I am anxiously waiting for his next release! Give him a try you wont be disappointed.

Awesome books! Can't wait to read the rest. As far as the person nitpicking and calling themselves "grammar police"...stop being so technical and you may actually be able to find a great story underneath.

The Girl in the Box series is an urban fantasy/paranormal about a young girl, Sienna, who has powers that she can't yet handle. With an unusual upbringing, she breaks a number of 'rules' within moments as two strangers break into her home. She doesn't know what they want, or where her mother is, but she isn't prepared to find out! She fights back, and runs away, where she is helped by the enigmatic Reed. After being tracked down by Wolfe, Sienna is injured and Reed disappears. She is taken to a facility where things take a turn for the strange... This is an enjoyable set of books, giving detail in Sienna's life without being bored with unnecessary details. She reminded me a lot of Buffy as a character, with quick retorts. Plus there was the whole comment about dreaming about a man with sliced cheese!!! Also, there are the inevitable comparisons to be made with Rogue of Marvel fame, who is also unable to touch anyone without absorbing them. On the whole, this was quick paced and well written. There is enough mystery there that even after three books, I am still no closer to an answer. If you like your urban fantasy full of twists and turns, not knowing who you can trust, or if they are who they really say they are, then I can definitely recommended this series.
