Editorial Reviews

Imagination Soup - Melissa Taylor
Here’s a new book with an Ignite Good! positive message – to motivate kids to change the world. The superheroes in this story, Global Girl and Little Big-Heart, inspire kids to do good without expecting anything in return and to fight Krumi, the villain of apathy. The cool thing is that the kids in the book are real.
The Giggle Guide - Mari Gold
The launch of this dynamic duo, brim-full of inspiration for girls, is a hardcover book in which Little Big-Heart introduces readers to his first recruits, three amazing real-life superheroes who join the GGC Alliance and share their Ignite Good! stories.
About.com - Ashley Benz
I loved having a book with a positive message that I could pull out when nursing the new baby. It was fun to watch the kids continue their imaginative play “igniting good” around the house in their capes. One would “fly over” and get the wipes while another would retrieve a glass of water from the kitchen. We talked about how there is good to do in all kinds of situations and I watched their character develop right before my eyes.
Mom Central - Stacy DeBroff
Entertaining your child with a good story and inspiring her to be catalyst for positive change proves easier said than done. With the help of Jan and Rachel Annette Helson, a mother daughter duo, kids’ imaginations will overflow with creativity. This duo wants to help Moms get this positive message through to their kids in a relatable way. The Global Game Changers book and Ignite Good! philosophy help motivate children to do good for the world.
SheKnows - Kori Ellis
Look for books with a positive message. We love The Global Game Changers - a book that encourages philanthrophy for kids. The Global Game Changers brand also offers toys and other products too, including an ebook, interactive book app and interactive website.

Jan hopes that the book, website, and app will help show children how much fun it can be to Ignite Good! Jan believes you should Strive for Excellence in all that you do. She has spent 25 years with her husband and business partner, Tim, launching and managing business ventures. Most recently they devoted 16 years toward developing a niche food manufacturing business, Golden Foods/Golden Brands, into a global leader within its field. Much More Than a Children's Book...

I am so excited to have found a children's book that has real meaning. I feel like my grandchildren understand something new each time we read it. It has them thinking and talking at a much higher level than I knew their five-year-old minds were capable of!

    A Must-Order for Teachers

I am a teacher, and I have been using The Global Game Changers in my classroom as a way to talk about doing good for others and appreciating what we have been given. We talk about the characters in the Global Game Changers every day, and focus on their positive characteristics. All of my students really bought into the idea that doing small things each day makes them a superhero. I have had parent emails about how much his or her child loves being a "superhero." Other teachers have approached me about using The Global Game Changers in their classrooms too! I love reading this book to my students, and my students love listening and talking about it! I would recommend this book to anyone who teaches or has young children.
