Good short story.
Characters were cute. Aja was sweet and lovable while Olivia was the dominant. Hayden, oh Hayden you are welcomed in my house anytime. I just wished the story was a little longer. The story places the reader almost smack in the middle of all the action. Let me warm up before tha big bang. But what a bang! I'm sure it will be great if Jessa decides to write a beginning and introduce us to the girls wild side first. Thanks Jessa for the opportunity to read your great short story.
Aja and Olivia are college students looking to broaden their sexual horizons, so Olivia invites sexy Grad student Hayden to take part in a menage a trois with them. Aja and Hayden have been exchanging emails, getting to know one another, and Hayden wants Aja to himself, but he’s willing to share with Liv if it gets him close to Aja. The three have hot sex and then… well, I’ll let you read the rest.
I enjoyed this short story; there was an issue with double “l”s, but it may have just been a conversion issue. Other than that, there weren’t many spelling or grammatical errors. The story was sexy, the sex was pretty good, and the writing was well done. I think this book is a pretty good way to spend a half hour. Oh, and the title does get explained, which is a plus in my book.

In this erotic menage tale, you meet Aja, Olivia and Hayden. Two roommates who like to experiment and on this night, invite Hayden over for a night hot naughty mischief.
The tale begins as the girls are getting ready for their tryst with Hayden; everything is set, the 'outfits' the erotic food, all they need is Hayden to make things complete. As a gentleman, Hayden arrives early and surprises Aja who is still a bit hesitenat regarding the impending enounter.
As the tale goes on, the girls and Hayden explore eachother and their own sexuality. In the end, one of the girls leaves her girl friend to Hayden and indulge in her own wiles elsewhere.
This is a great hot read for a lunch break or while waiting behind a long train.
This is the second book I've read by Jessa Callaver, and I loved it as much as the first! She has such a way with words; her descriptions are absolutely amazing.
The Goat and the Heathen is a short story about two roommates who agree to have a threesome, so the more bold of the two finds a guy and sets it up. Needless to say, things get hot and steamy and deliciously romantic.
As I said, the author uses amazing descriptions. It's so easy to picture what you're reading in your head. The writing is clean and very well developed. In writing short stories it's often hard to bring out personalities and get a complete story, but this author does an amazing job. I love the characters she creates. Aja is a little unsure of herself but willing to try new things, Olivia is obviously outgoing and fun loving, and Hayden is sweet and sexy.
I had always wondered about the title of this book…it seems rather odd. But, at the end of the book we get to find out the meaning!
I really hope Jessa will someday write a longer novel, or at least keep writing short stories! I will read everything she writes!
I really liked this story...really well-rounded characters, and I liked the relationship between the two college roommates as much as I did the relationship between the main character, Aja, and Hayden, the boy with whom her roommate arranges the tryst. Kind of a sweet romance meets erotica, which I wish there was more of, frankly. Well written and hot, sensual scenes. Well worth the read!

This absolutely was an interestingly sweet and erotic story. I enjoyed reading about Aja and Hayden and Olivia. Jessa weaves a short tale, having Olivia play the sexiest match-maker I've read about in a long time. She sets Aja and Hayden under the backdrop of a threesome, giving Hayden visual incentives that any man that dreams of a threesome with two hot women would kill for. I liked the way the story ended, and the emotions that came with the revelation were realistic. I also enjoyed Aja's transformation before, during, and after the interlude... what is it they said about the quiet and shy ones? LOL My hat's off to Jessa for a sexy read... Short story about 80 ebook pages. The characters do not have a lot of development. But, this is erotica isn't it. Who needs character development. There is NO actual goat in this story.
