In 1986, the magical fantasy movie Labyrinth introduced the world to a set of unforgettable goblins from the minds of Jim Henson and Brian Froud. Not only has the film become a classic with a huge cult following, but Brian Froud's long out- of-print book about the malevolent and cantankerous goblins-packed with his brilliant drawings and paintings-has achieved similar cult status.

Now Abrams is proudly reissuing The Goblins of Labyrinth in a brand-new 20th Anniversary Edition. With even more artwork than the original and a new afterword from Brian Froud, this mesmerizing work, like Froud's The World of The Dark Crystal, is a must-have for collectors and Brian Froud fans everywhere.

How could I not to know about this book sooner. Labyrinth being one of my all time favorite movies this book was really good. Has info on all the goblins, some you'll recognize and others maybe? Love seeing the concept art for video games and movies etc. If you LOVE Labyrinth the movie then this is the book for you.

This is a great addition to any Labyrinth collection. It takes a fan as deeply, if not more so, into the Labyrinth than anyone could hope to go. The touching dedication to the creator of the addicting story, Jim Henson, as well as the afterward which tells of the start of the timeless adventure is enough to have you going through the roof. However, it's not Goblins of Labyrinth for no reason. Each section decribes any and every goblin imaginable with short histories AND original sketches by Brian Froud. By the by, there also a few breathtaking paintings by the artist. If you look very closely, it will show you some fun characters that managed to make it into the movie. Labyrinth fans will not be disappointed.
