The God Standard was written to inspire everyday believers to transform their lives from the ordinary to the extraordinary. By looking at fundamental aspects of Christian living and then applying God's standard to each of these principles, the reader is taken on a journey of spiritual transformation that will create a hunger within them to be changed from readers of the Word into disciples of God.
At each "Checkpoint" the reader will be challenged to take a close look at their own lives and to measure themselves against God's standards. Instead of creating feelings of condemnation, guilt and failure, each "Checkpoint" will present the reader with the knowledge that they have an amazing opportunity to be transformed from who they thought they were into Who they were created to be.
As the reader progresses on the journey of transformation, they will develop a deeper relationship with God and also grow in areas of love, forgiveness, faith, authority, prayer and many more. The God Standard leaves no stone unturned and directly addresses questions that are on the hearts and minds of every believer but that they have been too afraid to ask.
The journey and transformation within the reader will confirm within their hearts that they were fearfully and wonderfully created by a loving Father, who had in mind an eternal purpose just for them; a purpose and destiny that was established from the beginning of time and that is within their reach.

I am a good friend of the Author, David Volmer and his wife Lee. I am about half way through this book and have been incredibly blessed by reading it. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone, Christian or Non-Christian. If you are teetering on whether you believe in God or not, this book is for you. It's filled with not only Brother David's thoughts and commentary, but it's filled with Scripture to support his commentary as well. Make this part of your next book order. I promise you that it won't disappoint!
