This one is a novella, a short but so good book. I had to read this because I just loved The Goddess Test. When I started reading this I thought that we would get a look at Kate and James's time in Greece. They are there on vacation for her six months away from Henry and the underworld. I was surprised to find that the story is pretty much about Castor and Pollux, two brothers on the run from Henry and the council. I enjoyed reading about their history and I like how Kate stands up for what she believes in. It was also cool to read from Henry's point of view. I'm not going to say anymore about the story, I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I suggest you read this if you have read the first book. It's a fun and quick read!

As soon as this book was available, I was on my computer ready to buy NOW!!!!! I really love this short story. It gave a better insight on Henry and the other characters in the book. I was particular interested in Henry, since he has manged to snagged my heart. I love reading his point of view and seeing the way he views Kate. Let me tell you that his love for her is enduring. I smiled at his view of Kate and how he admired her. I liked that the reader got better view of God's politics that is going on. It helped me with other questions as to what the Gods are fighting over. Before I give to much away this book is a great filler to the series. You get Henry's pov, lots of politics, and much more of Kate's fierceness. If you love the Goddess Test novels, read this book!! The Goddess Hunt fulfills the reader in every way possible. For those who want more of Henry, you will get him! The Goddess Hunt leaves the reader wanting more!

This story was short and sweet!!! I like how Kate is willing to fight for the rights of others and stands up to "Walter". I want to read about the relationship btw Kate and Henry.

Spoilers if you haven't read The Goddess Test. My Summary: Having passed the tests and won immortality, Kate is free for the summer. Not really wanting to leave her new husband, Henry, but forced by her mother to remember she is still a teen finding her way, Kate heads to Greece with James. What should be a pleasant summer trip is far from it when James decides to visit some very old friends. Too bad they don't want to be found especially by the likes of the Gods. Drawn into the struggle of Lux and Casey, Kate must decide where her loyalties really are. Does she do what she knows is right or what the wife of Hades would do? What about Henry, will his anger be kindled or will he see things as Kate does? And what is James up to here stirring things up between them? Gonna be an interesting summer. My Thoughts: 4 stars - a great read So I don't trust James - Hermes - at all. Known for being cunning and shrewd, this guy is so after Kate. Her being married to Henry - Hades - doesn't seem to phase him in the slightest. But I did enjoy how Kate is so oblivious to it. I love the characters in this series. I especially love that they don't necessarily have all the character traits of the classic Greek Gods. Their names are modern. They have lost their smug Greek ways, thank the Gods for that. It's such a fresh look at an old world lore. This installment has more of that as Kate tries to figure out the story behind Casey and Lux - also known as Castor and Pollux. I didn't know their story so it was fun to learn it this way. My favorite part of this book was reading from Henry's POV! Recently taken a huge liking to reading from the male POV but because it was the quiet and sometimes brooding Henry , I was all over it. I think seeing thing from his perspective really helped me get ready for The Goddess Interrupted too. This is a fun fast read that will have you loving Henry even more and longing for more. If you've read The Goddess Test, you need to read this one BEFORE The Goddess Interrupted. If you haven't started this series, then start soon. It's a great twist on the Greek Gods with loads of romance.

I didn't realize this was the second book in the goddess series and so I bought and finished the goddess interrupted book first. Aimee wrote the book so well that I found nothing to suggest I had missed anything, but I hate missing a book anyway. So I am eager to read this book. I am also now FADING with anticipation for the goddess inheritance... Will Henry be able to stop C..?

In this short Novella Kate has passed all her tests and she has become Henry's wife. All this is a lot to take in so Kate takes a vacation to Greece with James to get some normal time. Henry wants her to have a season in the normal world a season in the underworld. The only thing that has not changed is the lies and secrets everyone is keeping. Kate is in Greece with James and they are having fun. James is still trying to convince Kate that she can chose another life. In the hopes that she will love him and chose him but Kate is true to Henry and she has realized how much she loves him and needs him. While in Greece she is caught up in an age old battle. She helps everyone out with Henry's help and soon realizes that Ava and James once again have their own agenda. What is a girl to do? She has escaped a crazed killer and she has married Henry and she has her mother, so why does she feel like life is about to get worse? What will happen between Kate and James in Greece? Will she leave Henry or will she love him to the ends of the earth.......

This was more of a short story than a book, took me less than an hour to read it and not much really happened. Could have done a lot more with the story line, instead this just feels like a quick filler between books.

This short story provides a little back history for the Council, mainly Henry & Walter. It introduced two more characters from Greek mythology's endless tales

I was looking to see if I NEEDED to read this series, and what better way than to try a novella that is #1.5 in the line up! I found characters that were serious, quirky, genuinely caring, clueless and just plain entertaining! I found a plot, that while a novella told me what I needed to know! Filled with some danger, some humor, some brotherly love and great dialogue, The Goddess Hunt by author Aimee Carter looks to be a lighter paranormal series with some great ideas, characters and just enough smirky moments to make even the depths of the Underworld seem not too bad! The idea of being the wife of Hades after passing a test, seriously? Love it! Aimee Carter can tell a tale! Bottom line: I NEED to read this series!
