When I bought the cards, I was just looking for something to work with the Goddesses, a tool to do that. I got a surprise when I got them and opened the book that came with the cards on ideas of how to work with the cards. I pull a few cards each week and the cards have been very accurate to what my needs are. The art work on most of the Goddess cards is lovely. But there is one card that makes me uncomfortable. Sheila Na Guig is a Goddess that looks like an old woman and has her hands in her genitals and opening it. this is the card for opening yourself to fear and other things that are not always so pleasant and facing them. It may not be so for others with this kind of picture but for me it uncomfortable. Perhaps I need this card more than I thought on a metaphysical level. so I will endure. I feel that the authors of this deck did a very nice job of the paintings of Goddess and defining the meanings of the cards. I like working with them and that so far they have told me exactly what I need. I would recommend them to anyone looking to see parts of themselves and to working to a closer relationship to the Goddess.
