I would really like to read it but I can't open it, downloaded several times. I am surprised B&N still offers it. You would think they would pull it until the problem is solved. I wonder if anyone at Halcyon ever tested the file on a Nook before offering it. And, I wonder if B&N will ever officially respond to the problem.

Cannot open this book - would love to read it and actually review it's contents, but, as others have posted before me, it will not open, and the nook sits idle for a long, long, long time.

I purchased this ebook the evening of Oct. 6, 2010. When I tried to open it, the Nook would sit there with the message "Opening your book", and nothing would happen. I tried all the suggestions one could find on the web: do a complete power shutdown; archive and then unarchive; etc. After working on the problem for 2 days, I visited my local Barnes and Noble. They were very helpful, and spent 45 minutes repeating everything I had done. Then they tried to open the book on one of their Nooks, and found it wouldn't open either. They believe there is a problem at the publisher's end, which they believe will be resolved soon. This looks like a very good book. I gave it one star merely because I have yet been unable to open it.

This book takes about 10 minutes to open, and appears to be seriously slowing down my ability to searchin my nook.

I found three books from this publisher that I really would like to have read. Unfortunately none of them will open. I had thought it might be due to the size of the files, but other books I have downloaded that are equally large are fine. All three of these hang up my Nook, and the only way I can get out of it is to turn the device off. I tried going through the techs with the first one, but nothing worked. I went to check a review of one of the books, only to discover that everyone who downloaded the book had that problem. This reader was told it is a problem on the publisher's end and once it gets solved, the books will open. So now I have three books that look great and enticing, but can't get open. I'm only giving this one star, but I'm sure I'd rate it higher if I could read it.

This book had some very interesting stories that I had been looking for for a long time. It was too bad the paging software left me stuck a hundred pages short of the end of the book. Now only one page is viewable and none of the fixes works this time! Restarting your Nook from a "hard" shutdown frequently might prevent that. Overall, a good read, but a little frustrating .

I got my Nook for this series. Do not be ripped off! The entire navigation is a jumbled mess. Page one is not page one. Page two is page 60 or 182 depending on its mood. Pages 2-59 are inaccessable. Table of contents takes you to random parts of the book in the middle of a story.
