Book was very informative and easy to use.

It was divided into three levels of play. You can read the whole book or focus on the part of your game you wished to improve. It is a great book for beginners as well as those wishing to improve their game.

Excellent for working out the wrinkles in your game

The author of the book, Steve Newell, has compiled an amazing number of tips and techniques in this book to help improve anyone's golf game. The book is quite comprehensive in that it covers nearly every facet of the game, ranging from iron shots to pitch shots, chipping to putting, and driving to bunker shots, and more! At a personal level, I found it very helpful because it helped me to return to the basics of the game that I'd learned 20 or so years ago during my first golf lessons. Many of the lessons in the book helped me to understand the 'why' behind various aspects of the game that I'd never quite grasped, such as why an outside-to-inside swing results in a slice or what I did wrong to 'top' my ball or the importance of ball placement in my stance. Steve Newell has included lessons for golfers of every skill level, from beginner to advanced. Admittedly, beginners and intermediates likely will benefit more from the lessons than an advanced golfer, but there are many lessons for advanced golfers as well. The lessons are simplistic and usually easy to understand. Quite a few of them you can even practice in your own backyard, because they deal primarily with aspects of your swing.
