The Goth
The night rises to a new moon. The air is thick with death and the agony of life, and the struggle for immortality. I step forward from the shadows, into the light, here in the Narrows I will linger, I wait.
As in the passing of a moment I am brought back to the present, to the darkness. I stand in the moonlight watching death pass. I am here, here in this place, this city that never sleeps. I am alive in thought, alive in being and yet, dead.
This is my history, my journey. I walk in the depths of darkness, I am the Goth that awaits the living, I am the shadow that passes in the darkness.
I hear a sound, a voice calling. I stop to hear the cry but no one answers. This is stillness, darkness, there is life but beyond. What might there be?

About the Author

I am a 100% disabled Veteran; I have a lot of time on my hands to go through the 690 or so manuscripts that I’d written and wasn't able to publish while in the military. After 32 years of service, I’m finally able pull out my gay themed manuscripts I put aside for fear of being exposed. As an Intelligence Analyst, I encountered and took part in, various aspects of government duties. During these years I kept a diary of places, people and events I’d taken part and turned them into gay fiction I have a series of 8 manuscripts that I am breaking up into individual books, The Book of the Elves. The series tells the history of the Elves, their legends, wars and encounters with mankind. ** I also have a series of “Sinbad the Gay sailor” with illustrations, which was popular aboard ship years ago. The Death of a Pope, The other side of White Privilege, Gay Cow Boy stories and the retelling of the classics told from a Gay point of view, with added gay characters and events.
