The Grad's Guide to Choosing Well is one of the great books in this section. Graduating High School can be a tough and hard time. Not everyone is able to go to a Christian school or a school close to home. Whether it be by their own decision or not. The Grad's Guide to Choosing Well helps guide students through these tougher times. Using Proverbs as the base of all its advice, this book offers wisdom for life on your own. This great book offers stories and hope from the bible itself.
I love that there are sections dedicated to surviving in a Surviving a Sex Saturated World, Choosing Good Friends and even realizing The Value of Free Time.
This book is a great buy for that person in your life who has just left High School, or is just starting College. This is also a great buy for someone already in College.
I think college is that age when a lot of youngsters grow up. They mature into beautiful Women and Men of God. Sometimes it takes someone other than parents to teach their children how to be good people. Sometimes children need to hear advice from others their own age. The Grad's Guide to Choosing Well has advice from the bible but put into a younger modern perspective. There is also a ton of advice from other Christian Teens and Young Adults.
When purchasing a book for a young adult or teen in your life you should look for only what supports your values and morals, as well as offers modern advice that you agree with. Th1nk from Navpress has books aimed at exactly that.

The Grad's Guide to Choosing Well is published by Navpress under its TH1NK line of materials.
It explores common tough issues and temptations teens and young adults will likely face as they head out for life on their own in colleges.
Using Proverbs 3:5-6 as a foundation for making choices and setting priorities in daily life, this guide follow a pre-set format of the so-called Choice Matrix where each line of Prov 3:5-6 forms a domain by itself.
Overall, although this book has covered the essential contemporary issues faced by young people, I find the writing of this book to be rather plain and to an extent, monotonous. It is hard to dig out the gems and "life lessons" out from the stories. It lacks specificity when it comes to dealing with a particular issue. I wish this book would have at least some charts, figures, more captions, etc.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from NavPress Publishers as part of their Blogger Review program. I was not required to write a positive review.
