This book has almost nothing at all to do with the Great Depression. It's a survivalist guide for how to live after the 'upcoming end of civilization'. Stock canned food, grow your own vegetables, and the like. Don't be fooled by the title, as I was. This isn't what it says it is. Roger Lignugaris

The information was presented clearly and in a very good story. I found the approach to the subject original and interesting. I learned about the depression and the politics of a time that I had not previously known much about.
