Overview

In his #1 New York Times bestseller Crimes Against Liberty, David Limbaugh penned a damning indictment of President Barack Obama’s misrule during his first two years in office. In Limbaugh's blockbuster new book, The Great Destroyer, he sets his sights on the remainder of Obama’s presidency revealing President Obama’s latest crimes against liberty. Exposing Obama’s counterfeit image as a champion of bipartisan compromise, Limbaugh relates in shocking detail how the president resorts to class-warfare demagoguery to advance a stunningly ideological agenda. The Great Destroyer also reveals how Obama’s left-wing policies have become increasingly destructive to the nation, putting America on a collision course with fiscal ruin and international powerlessness. We must drastically change course, Limbaugh argues, or else our country will fall into an abyss that could take generations from which to escape. Controversial, compelling, and original, The Great Destroyer ingeniously picks up where Crimes Against
Liberty
left off, and is Limbaugh’s most powerful book yet.

Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

Conservative political commentator David Limbaugh doesn't mince words. He insists that Barack Obama and his leftist henchmen have set out to transform our republic into a government that bleeds the economy and sucks out our freedoms. The Great Destroyer exposes the half-hidden agenda of an administration that Rush's brother claims is intent on undermining our free market economy and our national defense. Combative words for a presidential season.

From the Publisher

Praise for The Great Destroyer

“My friend David Limbaugh has written the best book about the worst president in American history. If anyone reads this book and still votes for Barack Obama, he should have his head examined.”
Mark Levin, nationally syndicated radio talk show host

“In The Great Destroyer, David Limbaugh shows how Barack Obama has plundered our nation’s finances, dismantled our defenses, trampled on our Constitution, and punctured the American dream. A must-read book on the Obama administration’s shameless pillaging of America.”
mdash;Sean Hannity, host of Hannity’s America

The Great Destroyer reads like a terrific political thriller about an administration hell-bent on bankrupting its own nation and undermining its national security. The fact that it’s a true story about our own country should disturb and alarm every reader.”
Vince Flynn, #1 New York Times bestselling author of American Assassin and Kill Shot

“When the time comes to assess the finest historians of the Obama administration, top honors will likely go to an attorney and writer, David Limbaugh, whose Crimes Against Liberty set the standard for all future work. Now, Limbaugh is back with a sequel, The Great Destroyer. No one documents the case against Barack Obama with such organized sledge-hammer blows as David Limbaugh. In time, these two volumes will stand as the definitive story of a failed president and his corrupt ideas.”
Larry Schweikart, co-author of A Patriot’s History of the United States

“A modern ‘Midnight Ride of Paul Revere,’ The Great Destroyer is not only a must read, it is a must read right now. Sharp, engaging, and right on the money, the White House and Team Obama are going to absolutely hate this book.”
Brad Thor, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Black List

Kirkus Reviews
Rush Limbaugh's brother delivers the obligatory Republican diatribe on the reasons our current president doesn't deserve another term in office. A follow-up to his former "indictment" of President Obama in Crimes Against Liberty (2010), Limbaugh further dissects Obama's political behavior, his administration's "federal interventionism and lawlessness" and what he feels is a blatant attack on American values. What emerges after reading the author's 12 scathing, relentlessly accusatory chapters is that, in Limbaugh's estimation, Obama is a near-subhuman disgrace to America. The author sets down incriminations through heavy-handed, melodramatic prose, even suggesting the president has irresponsibly blamed former President George W. Bush for the morally lapsed state of the nation, all while single-handedly bringing America "to the brink of financial collapse." Limbaugh is an entertainment attorney by trade, so the impressive breadth and comprehensive nature of his criticism on issues like Obamacare, energy prices and legislation, governmental spending and the deficit isn't surprising (many factual statements are admittedly eye-opening). Also unsurprising is his blasting of Obama for his support of gay rights, abortion, failed foreign policy initiatives, the jobs bill and the immigrant-friendly Dream Act. Limbaugh even finds room to chide Michelle Obama, who, in a 2010 NAACP speech, "portrayed America as though it's still dominated by Jim Crow-style inequality." The inclusion of nearly 70 pages of supporting notes and documentation lends some credence to Limbaugh's arguments, but a lack of authorial personality (humor, hopefulness…anything), nor any nods to the good work President Obama has accomplished (or solutions to the problems outlined), turns all the criticism into a dour, antagonistic manifesto. A meticulously catalogued, book-length tantrum discouraging voters from re-electing our 44th President.

This is a fantastic book for anyone who wants to be reminded or educated in all that Obama has done to this country. Its an encyclopedic. It's a compendium. It's completely footnoted. All the sources are there in detail. Its crossreferenced. It really is like a handbook of everything that you would need at your disposal. It's like even after you read it, there's so much, you're going to forget all of it. You'll have to have the book nearby for reference purposes. That's how chocked-full it is. Its a perfect reference material listing all the reason why Obama should not be re-elected - in fact, this book is late coming out. It should have been published during the election - he would have never been elected! Its that good!!

    Waste of time

This book was awful. I checked many issues presented and they were all distorted and made up. I suggest the next time the writer decides to waste our time courtesy is given to provide at least some truth or evidence of opinions being presentred as facts

    Readers give 5 stars

Apparently thos who have read the book give it great reviews, the one's whose tiny minds took offense at the title alone have decided to falsely attack it so they pretend to have read it and give it 1 stars. Made me buy it. Glad I did. Another couple books to read: Spoiled Rotten and The Death of Liberalism. The last especially shows how the once laudible liberal American values have been subsumed by crackpot failed foreign ideas of Socialism and Communism which have captured much of our undereducated, superficial and shallow spolied brats ready to trade their birthright for 3rd World abject poverty ~ not only financial, but philosophical and moral. Ignore the rabid zombies.

"And the truth shall set you free"

As is the case in many writings relative to our leaders, this is sure to be controversial. Having said that, I find it to be truthful and extremely revealing about how this president and his administration DO NOT have the best interests of America at heart. They are about dissillution, lies, manipulation and very tainted kool aid drinking! After reading the insightful review from the person who asked if the book is called the great destroyer, why isn't George Bush on the cover? Very simple, Barak Obama is SO-O much better in the role and does it SO-O much better than just about any other president in American history! Guess you drink the tainted kool aid.
