As a result, it was a better record than its predecessors, boasting a tougher sound and some actual hooks, without losing the juvenile vulgarity that pleased their following. So, everything should have worked out -- ICP had a commercial album that would have brought them a big audience, if the marketplace could overlook the fact that the duo was dressed like evil clowns. But things didn't work out as planned. On the day of the release of The Great Milenko, Hollywood pulled the album from the market, claiming that they were unaware of the offensive content of the record. That seems a little unlikely, since a company wouldn't really sink a million dollars into a project being "unaware" of what it was about. Still, the resulting furor meant that the Insane Clown Posse became national figures, and The Great Milenko gained a sort of hip status. It's one of the better albums in ICP's work.

    All of ICP's CDs are great overall but Great Milenko has the best hits in my opinion. Some of their CDs have too many skits and joke-type songs but not this one.

    Sweet

    I love this CD it is soo cool. I listen to it iver and over again. Its the best ever. I like the best of rap/rock mixed with it. It gives teens who like rap and rock a new experience in a way.

    The one great ICP cd

    I heard this cd for the first time in ninth grade like six years ago. i loved it and still do. but i gotta say, most ALL their other stuff really does suck. this cd for some reason stands out from all the others. i love most all the songs on it. i got jeckel bros its okay, i listened to wraith, it sucked, and so does the rest of their music. BUT, this cd is killer, go get it whether u like ICP or not.

    The Great Milenko is GREAT fun with a raw edge!

    If you like your music untamed with a side of comedic fun to go in after it then you get ICP. When you first hear Great Milenko & Hokus Pokus you can't resist the luscious beats these guys put out. Along with a twist of savage side spliting humour that could even make a sailor blush from time to time , that doesnt dominate the sound ~ because the music just gets you moving. Defiantely one of my favorite albums!! Highly recommended...!!

    ICP does it agian

    icp records another crowd pleaser with the great milenko. every one of my friends are wanting to go with me to the cocert just because i let them listen to how mant times on the 3 hour bus ride and they hate anything that isn't christian rock. convinsed ? people think icp is just about cussing but this cd has a message and that is that these artists have the same problems that we do peopel riticule them the same as use with one exeption their not afraid to blow off in some one's face this is a good cd. i am glad that my friend let me borrow this cd. and you will be waiting at your front door after you order this cd waiting for the postal dude to bring it. adios

    The Great Milenko.

    I thought that this album was great fun, I really enjoyed the little skits between the tracks. Having listened to the album about 37 times it is still a great album. Any body else got any other reviews on their other albums?

    Very good, but not the best

    all of the songs are at least mediocre, and most of them are good. This title, although not ICP's best, is worth getting.

    lets take a walk down the hallway its a long way it takes all day and when you get to the end youll find a chair with the great milenko cd for you to party

    This cd makes rap look good!!!

    I HATE rap, but this cd is one of my favorites. Its got some great songs like Halls Of Illusions, The Neden Game, and Pass Me By. All of them are great. What is a Juggalo? is also pretty sweet. If you don't have it yet, get your juggalo @$$ outta your house and get this cd!!!
