The Great Mysteries: Experiencing Catholic Faith from the Inside Out

by Andrew M. Greely, Robert Barron (Foreword by), Paul Smith (Read by)

In Greeley's vision, God is an agent of life and life to the full…Greeley interprets Christianity as the proclamation of light in the midst of darkness, final victory after many losses, life trumping death. What he sees in all Christian doctrine…is God's exuberant, childlike, irrepressible 'Yes.'
—from the foreword by Rev. Robert

Editorial Reviews

Booklist
This deceptively simple catechesis is actually an invaluable primer of Catholic beliefs and traditions that will intrigue both the faithful and the merely curious.
Chicago Sun-Times - Mike Thomas
Within the Catholic Church, Greeley's staunchly against-the-grain stances on such hot-button issues as birth control, female clergy and abortion, as well as his sex-and-corruption-tinged novels, have made enemies and waves.
