Overview

Coach John Wooden's teams at UCLA won a record 10 NCAA men's basketball championships, Sporting News magazine named him the Greatest Coach of All Time, and ESPN honored him as the Greatest Coach of the Twentieth Century. Today, after his passing, his wisdom-capsulized so clearly in his famous Pyramid of Success™-continues to guide new generations of athletes, coaches and people of all walks of life. Yet while Coach Wooden appreciated the tributes and the honor of being called the greatest coach ever, he felt uncomfortable with the title. He was eager to see that this book points to Jesus Christ, the One whom he called the greatest coach ever.

Assembled by The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Greatest Coach Ever features 40 tributes from athletes, coaches and other influential leaders that pay honor to Coach Wooden and reflect on how his example has challenged and changed their lives. Their stories can challenge and change your life as well.
